Living in the Blue Ridge
I moved to Boone in 2014 in order to go to App State (GO MOUNTAINEERS). I love being a part of the Appalachian culture and spending free time on the parkway. My heart belongs to this community and I don’t foresee myself leaving anytime soon!
Who am I away from the job?
Outside of counseling I am an avid reader, enjoy hiking, sitting outside, playing with Misty and spending time with my wonderful friends.

My Journey
I moved to Boone in 2014 to go to ASU. I majored in psychology and minored in social work. During this time I learned how much I enjoyed helping others and found my passion while taking a substance use counseling course. With the help and encouragement of my support system I applied to and attended the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program also at ASU. I graduated with my masters in 2019. Since then I have worked in mental health in the community, college, and private sectors. I’ve been in private practice for 6 years and hope to have many more years of practice left!
